Zero Data Selling
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal photos, videos, or guest information to any third parties or advertisers. Period.
No Guest Sign-In Required
Guests can upload photos without an account. We use a secure anonymous cookie to recognize repeat uploads and count unique attendees.
Cloudflare R2 Storage
All photos and original-quality videos are encrypted at rest and in transit using Cloudflare R2 enterprise object storage.
Delete Anything Anytime
Event hosts own all data. When you delete an event or photo, it is permanently and irreversibly purged from our database and cloud storage.
1. Introduction & Overview
Welcome to UnifyPix (accessible at unifypix.com), operated to provide private, hassle-free candid photo and video collection guestbooks for weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate gatherings, and milestone occasions.
This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, store, handle, and protect data when you use UnifyPix as an Event Host (account holder), an invited Event Admin, or as an Event Guest sharing memories via QR code or event URL.
Your photos are private memories, not ad fodder. We will never sell your personal data or photos to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
2. Information We Collect
We gather only the minimum information necessary to orchestrate, secure, and deliver your event albums:
A. Event Hosts & Account Creators
- Account Credentials: Full name, email address, and profile picture (via email magic link or social sign-in).
- Event Information: Celebration title, event date, event type (e.g. Wedding, Birthday, Corporate), welcome message, and event visual styles (custom colors, QR card styling).
- Payment Records: When you purchase one-time event slots, our payment partner (Dodo Payments) processes your transaction. UnifyPix stores only the order confirmation, customer ID, and slot tier. We never receive or store raw card numbers.
B. Event Guests (No Account Needed)
- No Login Mandate: Guests do not create accounts, passwords, or verify emails to view or upload photos.
- Optional Name & Message: Guests can voluntarily provide a display name or warm message alongside their uploaded photo or video.
- Browser Device Anchor: An anonymous, secure browser cookie is utilized solely to recognize guest uploads and count unique attendees (detailed below).
C. Uploaded Media & Metadata
- High-resolution images (JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP) and videos (MP4, MOV).
- File size and media dimensions, used to calculate event storage quotas and serve optimized preview thumbnails.
4. Media Storage Architecture (Cloudflare R2)
All images and videos uploaded to UnifyPix are securely stored in Cloudflare R2 Object Storage.
Files are encrypted at rest using industry-standard AES-256 protocols within Cloudflare's secure infrastructure.
R2 storage buckets are isolated and private. Media cannot be randomly indexed or crawled by search engine bots.
We preserve the full, authentic resolution of your media so hosts can export crystal-clear ZIP archives for prints.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect strictly to operate, maintain, and enhance the UnifyPix service:
- To generate printable QR codes, digital album galleries, and live LED reception slideshows.
- To allow hosts and authorized co-admins to curate, moderate, sort, and batch download memories in bulk ZIP packages.
- To enforce event access controls, including PIN code protection and upload permissions chosen by the host.
- To process one-time payments and fulfill our 100% money-back guarantee via Dodo Payments.
- To monitor system performance, block malicious spam bots, and enforce upload rate limits.
- To send critical transactional notifications, such as sign-in magic links or customer support responses.
7. Data Retention & Your Permanent Deletion Rights
You are in complete control of your data. UnifyPix grants event hosts the absolute right to delete content whenever they desire:
Instant Event & Media Purge
When an event host deletes an event or individual photo from their dashboard, the action triggers an immediate cascade delete. The metadata is erased from our database and the corresponding media files are permanently purged from Cloudflare R2 object storage.
Account Closure
You can delete your user account at any time. All associated events, active albums, media, and guest lists will be permanently destroyed. To initiate full account closure, you can use your dashboard settings or email support@unifypix.com.
8. Co-Admin Invitations & Access Controls
UnifyPix allows event hosts to invite trusted co-admins (e.g., best man, maid of honor, event planner) to help manage albums, moderate uploads, and organize photos.
Host Responsibility: Hosts are solely responsible for whom they invite as co-admins. Co-admins receive permissions to view media, reorder albums, and delete photos.
Guest Privacy Protection: Event admins can only share albums with guests through the authorized QR code, direct URL, or event PIN. Admins cannot export or misuse guest data for unsolicited commercial purposes.
9. Security Safeguards
We implement multi-layered administrative, technical, and physical security measures designed to safeguard your precious memories:
TLS/SSL Encryption
All data moving between guest browsers and our servers is secured via 256-bit TLS encryption in transit.
Optional Event PINs
Hosts can lock albums with a custom numeric PIN code so only attending guests can access the gallery.
Signed Session Tokens
Guest and admin sessions use cryptographically signed tokens to prevent spoofing or unauthorized access.
Continuous Monitoring
Automated rate limiters and intrusion detection defend against brute force attempts and automated bot attacks.
10. Children's Privacy
UnifyPix is designed for adult event hosts (18 years or older). While family celebrations and milestone events naturally include photos of children, such images are uploaded and managed entirely under the authority and discretion of the event host and their guests.
We do not intentionally or knowingly solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe an image of a minor has been uploaded without proper guardian consent, contact us at support@unifypix.com for prompt removal.
